#12 | Made in Mataró: because proximity makes the difference

We live in a time when almost everything is produced far from where it is designed or purchased. In our case, we decided to keep the process close.

We manufacture our garments in Mataró, a city with a long textile tradition. Here, technical knowledge of knitwear has been part of the local environment for generations. Working in this context is not only a historical matter, but an operational one: it allows us to intervene directly in every stage of development. Our company began in 1952, and since then we have preserved and nurtured the knowledge that experience has taught us.

Technology and process control

We work with state-of-the-art seamless circular machines that allow us to build each garment almost entirely in a single piece. This type of machinery enables us to integrate different structures and compression zones within the same knitting process, without the need for subsequent cutting or stitching.

We work with technical materials such as polypropylene, selected for their lightness, strength and moisture management capacity. The combination of these yarns with elastane allows us to develop elastic structures that retain their shape, provide stability and guarantee durability even after intensive use.

Technical control is continuous, and we adapt the design according to the performance we seek in each model. Proximity allows us to test, validate samples and implement improvements quickly, without relying on long chains of intermediaries. In addition, we collaborate with local suppliers. This enables us to ensure traceability, technical consistency and direct communication whenever we need to adjust any parameter.

Energy and responsibility

At our factory, we have solar panels that generate part of the energy used in production. It is a decision aligned with our way of understanding the process: optimizing resources, reducing unnecessary transport and producing efficiently.

For us, sustainability is not an added message, but a natural consequence of how we work: controlled production, no surplus, and a strong focus on durability and the technical quality of the product.
